Hello all, let's say I wanted to use this SSL library in one of my hobby/business apps I develop so I can have the client/server securely communicate. Am I allowed to use this for those purposes? If so, what would I have to do? Would I have to put anything in the Help->About box? or may I use it without any mention? or what?

Nothing -- just use the code. The code is released under a very liberal license; it doesn't rquire you to do anything special.

Well does that mean we can even use it for WEB e-commerce purposes??

Yes, you can use it for any purpose you see fit.
