HMAC Methods

The methods of the HMAC class are listed below. For a complete list of HMAC class members, see the HMAC Members topic.

Public Instance Methods

Clear (inherited from HashAlgorithm) Releases all resources used by the HashAlgorithm.
ComputeHash (inherited from HashAlgorithm) Computes the hash value for the specified Stream.
ComputeHash (inherited from HashAlgorithm)Computes the hash value for the specified byte array.
ComputeHash (inherited from HashAlgorithm)Computes the hash value for the specified region of the specified byte array.
Equals (inherited from Object)Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object.
GetHashCode (inherited from Object)Serves as a hash function for a particular type, suitable for use in hashing algorithms and data structures like a hash table.
GetType (inherited from Object)Gets the Type of the current instance.
Initialize Initializes the HMAC.
ToString (inherited from Object)Returns a String that represents the current Object.
TransformBlock (inherited from HashAlgorithm) Computes the hash value for the specified region of the input byte array and copies the resulting hash value to the specified region of the output byte array.
TransformFinalBlock (inherited from HashAlgorithm) Computes the hash value for the specified region of the specified byte array.

Protected Instance Methods

Dispose Releases the resources used by the HMAC.
Finalize Finalizes the HMAC.
HashCore Routes data written to the object into the hash algorithm for computing the hash.
HashFinal Finalizes the hash computation after the last data is processed by the cryptographic stream object.
MemberwiseClone (inherited from Object)Creates a shallow copy of the current Object.

Explicit Interface Implementations

IDisposable.Dispose (inherited from HashAlgorithm)
